This walking tour is a delight – yet the tale of the Battle of Maldon is amazing!

The tour involves a very pleasant relaxing walk along the quayside,  we walk  by the gentle lapping  waters edge of the Blackwater Estuary.

The Walk

Is easy and gentle walk, but a fair walk along the promenade. Right by the waters edge! (2 miles)

This tour is not suitable for those with walking difficulties.

You must be walking fit.

Well behaved friendly  dogs are welcome on a lead please, at all times during the tour.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes
